Brief comparison
between two educational systems (Finland vs Colombia )
In Finland, the education is free from kindergarten to
college, includes classes , dining , books and even the material , ensuring
equality for all .
In Colombia the political
constitution decree that education is
free in institutions of state. But this is in the theory, because in practice , we know it is not true because there are not neccesary resources to guarantee free education
, in terms of college-level studies do not there are guarantees by the state.
All teachers in Finland
must have a master's degree and it is subsidized by the state .
In Colombia,the
teachers do not have guarantee of
subsidy for postgraduate studies, that's one of the reasons why most of the teachers do not have a master's degree .
In Finland teachers
work four hours a day and two hours in the work week as professional development
.
In Colombia teachers
work six hours a day in the classroom and two hours a day for class preparation.
